Beautiful location right near the mountain. If you are here to ski, walk out your door, hop on the shuttle and your on the mountain in 5 mins. The staff are great. Shuttle drivers were so friendly. Enjoyed this place so much!

This was our 3rd stay at this resort. We had a 2 bedroom with a fireplace. The accommodations and facilities were in excellent condition. What took the visit to another level was the staff. The shuttle drivers were very customer service oriented, also. They even got out of the vehicle and secured our skis for the ride to the slopes and upon arrival got out again to hand us our skis. Very impressive! Regarding things to do other than ski, we were very restricted this year because of COVID. Living in Florida and having very limited restrictions we were not use to the “lock down” we experienced in Colorado. We truly felt sorry for all the tourist related businesses that were not able to operate due to state wide restrictions. We highly recommend Strawberry Park Hot Springs-it’s always one of our “faves.” We also had several good dining experiences. Since restaurants were only operating at 25% due to COVID, planning and reservations needed to be made long in advance. One of the best dining experiences was at Table 79. The food and service was excellent. Their food and adult beverage specials at happy hour are well worth eating a little early. Lastly, we highly recommend getting a vehicle instead of using Uber or Lyft. The way the town and surrounding areas are designed are far more conducive to having your own vehicle. We look forward to experiencing Steamboat in the early summer or fall.
